James Moore injured
September 28th | Chaps Utd Medical CentreJames Moore has suffered minor knee ligament damage and is expected to be out for up to two weeks.
Serious concern spread around Chaps Utd HQ today after James Moore collapsed in severe pain moments before half time in the league win at home to Sporting Club Redditch yesterday.
Excellent work by the Chaps Utd medical team as well as true chap Mosedale have resulted in a favourable injury diagnosis after initial rumours Moore could miss the rest of the season. Slater later confessed that upon seeing Moore go down "I felt that sickening feeling worried it was a re-run of a few years earlier when he did his ACL on the same pitch. Knew he was in pain as he was screaming like he'd been shot".
Moore has received clarification from the club doctor that there are "some little ligaments damaged and will be feeling a little sore for a few days but hopefully should be back at it in a few weeks after some rest". He expects to be out of action for approximately 2 weeks.
