Moore facing season on the sidelines.

Moore has torn his ACL in his right knee and is likely to miss the remainder of the season.
Today the club received the devastating news that our beloved James Moore ( Jezzabell, as he is known within club grounds ) has torn his ACL in his right knee, a footballer's nightmare injury. The real crime here is that he has now suffered the injury in both his legs. It is highly unlikely that Moore, with his operation scheduled for 13th November, will recover in time to represent the Chaps before the season ends. An initial favourable diagnosis was today overturned after an MRI scan revealed the true extent of the damage to one of the greatest right knees in the Worcestershire area.
Players and staff around Chaps Utd are absolutely gutted with the news, losing not only a key member of the first team squad, but a key member of the dressing room. Personally I am beside myself with misery for brother Jeremy, a player who really does not deserve this kind of luck. Still awaiting clarification from Chaps Utd's medical consultant, Moore commented "I would hope I could get back and play but I can't be too sure. I'll be gutted if I can't pull on the Chaps Utd shirt and play with the chaps again!" So will we James, so will we. Fingers crossed for a speedy and successful recovery to one of our greatest players.
