Goal of the Month
October
November 14th | Chaps Utd Assessment CentreOctober's GOTM was won by Dutton for his brave header against New Inn Saints.
Despite limited game time so far this season, Dutton has always shows a willingness and dedication that his goal truly reflects. In his own words...
"Corner to chaps; I didn't get into the mix straight away, making this unpredictable for the opposition. The corner was whipped in by Slater, I held my position then spotted a gap and made my run. Leaping like a salmon I rose above my worthless markers, connecting with the header powering the ball towards the goal. It went through a crowd of players and nestled in the net."
Unfortunately the Chaps went on to lose the game, but Dutton's goal put us back into the lead at the time so can not be underestimated. Well done Nigél de Souza, I'm sure we will see plenty more from you over the forthcoming Winter.
Runner up was Watkins for his superb late volley Stoke Prior.
